FDA Philippines Warns Against Six Unregistered Drugs

The Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) of the Philippines is warning the public and all healthcare professionals regarding the presence of six unregistered drugs in the market. According to the FDA, these unregistered drugs include Norfloxacin Capsules, Baineting Eye Drops, Santen Daigaku Eye Drugs, Advanced Relief Eye Drops, Ranitidine Hydrochloride Capsules and Hawthorn Fat-Reducing Tablets. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that Mahina Mele Farms is recalling all of its the macadamia nuts in the market. The company made the decision after an FDA testing found the one sample from the company’s LOT 30 of macadamia nuts were positive for Salmonella. Salmonella is the name of a group of bacteria and it the common cause of food poisoning in the United States.
